the end of Summer...

It seems almost fitting that the passing of this legendary icon and disco diva would coincide with the end of a long & beautiful Summer.  It's also so strange how the death of someone you don't know and barely thought about actively on a day to day basis can just get under your skin.  I am strangely moved by all this.  And she will be missed.  RIP Donna Summers

I didn't say anything about this when I first saw these pics cuz I was just so busy dying a slow & painful death but, following my short trip to heaven (yay!) and subsequent resurrection I can finally react to the amazing spectacle that is Kate Middleton in this phenomenal Jenny Packham ensemble.  She has literally NEVER looked this good - yes, even on her wedding day ... and she's wearing my current favourite colour! Woo hoo!

Cotton On is literally ruining my life right now.  This is a tally of the purchases I made this weekend (there are some things I couldn't find pics of on the website and the shades aren't from there).   I've gotten to the point where I'm leaving things in my car and sneaking them in one by one on different days so hubby won't judge me...or even worse... buying stuff for other people just so I can just enjoy that awesome feeling of purchasing stuff without the guilt of another selfish acquisition.  Anyhoo, if you haven't yet discovered this gem of a store, swing by Sandton or Eastgate and get involved... it's fast fashion at its best.
